December is here, and every PlayStation (PS) gamer with PS Plus knows what that means: new free games to play. For this month, gamers get to play at least four games including an early beta access for unreleased "Monster Hunter World."

PS gamers using the PS Vita to the PS3 and 4 have great games coming up ahead of them. PS4 players would naturally get the longer list compared to the PS3 and Vita since it is, after all, the latest console. The list for free PS4 games includes "Darksiders II Deathinitive Edition," "Kung Fu Panda: Showdown of Legendary Legends," and the bonus PS Plus game "Until Dawn: Rush of Blood" for the PS VR owners. PS4 gamers in Europe get another bonus with party game "That's You."

The "Darksiders II" game is actually a remastered version of the original 2012 game. That said, this may not be something new for gamers. However, it includes all the downloadable contents (DLC) that were also released for the original game, so there is still something to try out for it aside from the revamped graphics.

For kids, there is always the free "Kung Fu Panda" game as well. Sony recently has also added yet another game for the PS4 with Metroidvania action and adventure game, "Forma 8."

Another bonus PS4 players get is a beta access to "Monster Hunter World." Set to be released on Jan. 26, 2018, this new "Monster Hunter" game will excite many fans as they can play online with other friends. This is a great change as most previous titles focus more on the solo adventure offline mode.

PS Vita players will get to play "Forma 8" as well and "Wanted Corp." On the other hand, PS3 players will have "Xblaze: Lost Memories" and "Syberia" collection. This is not the final list for all these consoles. According to GameSpot, there will be at least six more games yet to be revealed as December progresses.
