"Fortnite" has become extremely popular since the release of its battle-royale mode, so much so that that it has become on par with "Player Unknown's Battlegrounds" or "PUBG." In a game with a lot of weapons, it is not surprising for Epic Games to start adding more and more weapons to "Fortnite." That is exactly what happened as recent reports note that the developer will soon be adding another new weapon to the game.

The new weapon is called the "Hand Cannon." It is quite straightforward as it is called, at least as seen in its trailer, as this Hand Cannon definitely packs a huge punch. The trailer even shows it bringing down a building. Players will know that it will do even more when used on an enemy player.

Although no specific stats have been given yet, anyone can expect the Hand Cannon to do a lot of damage. Of course, with big damage comes big balanced effects. True enough, the Hand Cannon will definitely have a huge recoil. Although this is not exactly what Epic Games has mentioned, it is definitely what players can expect. It is a cannon after all.

No stats have been released yet, and there has been no exact date for its release either. Epic Games only mentions that it will come soon. Interestingly, together with the promotion for the Hand Cannon is a hero that may look like James Bond given the black and white colors or John Wick for the badass-looking character.

If there is any reason for it to come out, it would definitely be during the Season 3 Battle Pass. There are a total of 76 new items to be added to the game including skins and emotes, per GameSpot.

The Hand Cannon is just yet another new weapon added to the game. The Impulse Grenade was added in their latest update.
