'The Flash' episode 16 spoilers: Can Barry prevent Cisco's death in 'Rogue Time?'

Expeditions through time will not stop anytime soon in "The Flash," as Barry Allen's (Grant Gustin) ventures into the past continue to prevent the Reverse-Flash's evil plans.

Last episode, it was revealed that Dr. Harrison Wells (Tom Cavanaugh) is the Reverse-Flash, and his real name is Eobard Thawne. But the most surprising scene during that episode titled "Out of Time" was when Dr. Wells killed Barry's dear friend Cisco Ramon (Carlos Valdes) to protect his secret identity.

But in the upcoming episode titled "Rogue Time," Barry might successfully prevent Cisco's death by going back in time, if his appearance in the teaser video will be the basis.

In an interview with TVLine, "The Flash" executive producer Andrew Kreisberg talked about what is in store for Barry and the rest of the characters of the show.

"Now that Barry has gone back in time, next week's episode will deal with how much of [what took place in episode 15] still happens and how much of it might possibly change," Kreisberg stated.

He also reiterated Dr. Wells' earlier statement saying that there are different types of time travel, which could either be a good thing or a bad thing for Cisco's fate.

Meanwhile, the spoiler clip for the episode shows that Captain Cold and Heat Wave have come back to Central City. But unlike the last time when they tried to cause mayhem but failed, the duo will now bring Captain Cold's younger sister, Lisa Snart a.k.a. Golden Glider, with them to bring further destruction.

The episode synopsis reads:

"The Flash (Grant Gustin) will learn that Captain Cold (guest star Wentworth Miller) and Heat Wave (guest star Dominic Purcell) have returned to Central City. This time, Snart has brought along his baby sister, Lisa (guest star Peyton List), to help wreak havoc on the city."

Will the Snart siblings and their friend succeed in destroying the peace and order in Central City this time?

"The Flash" episode 16 is slated to air on Tuesday, March 24, on The CW.
