HGTV "Fixer Upper" stars Chip and Joanna Gaines officially opened their new restaurant, Magnolia Table, in Waco.

According to the Dallas News, the couple opened Magnolia Table on Feb. 26. The new restaurant is located at 2132 S. Valley Mills Drive. Fox News reported that the restaurant opened in a space occupied once by Waco-staple, Elite Cafe which the couple said have inspired some of the dishes on their menu.

Eater Dallas reported that the couple's restaurant will serve breakfast, brunch and lunch options. Breakfast options include eggs Benedict, French toast, pancakes, oatmeal, Joanna's buttermilk biscuits and avocado toast. For lunch, guests can choose from sandwiches like the 1919 pimiento cheese sandwich which was an Elite Cafe classic and an array of soups, salads and burgers. The restaurant will also be serving pastries (cupcakes, in particular) from their bakery named Silos Baking Company at their Magnolia Market at the Silos development. Eater Dallas noted that the restaurant's menu indicated that select ingredients are grown in Joanna's garden.

In an interview with Southern Living, Chip admitted that he was the reason why they are opening a restaurant that mostly focuses on breakfast. He said he always eats heavy breakfast and that he is happy Joanna supported and joined him in his venture. He also opened up about how they were not able to gain encouragement from close friends for their decision and how, after seeing what they did to the old Elite Cafe, people started coming forward, telling him he was wise for buying the property.

As mentioned earlier, Magnolia Table will serve breakfast, brunch and lunch from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m., Mondays through Saturdays. The restaurant will be closed on Sundays. Magnolia Table features an outdoor coffee bar with pastries and can seat up to 210 guests on a first-come, first-served basis (no reservations).
