'Five Nights at Freddy's: Sister Location' release date news: fans speculate on the biggest villain

Game designer Scott Cawthon continues to reveal details about the highly anticipated "Five Nights at Freddy's: Sister Location."

In his official website, the creator of the popular "Five Nights at Freddy's" point-and-click horror survival video game posted an image of a game controller with red and blue buttons with the caption: "Get back on your stage. NOW."

While there is no direct indication that the post is about the upcoming "Five Nights at Freddy's: Sister Location" game, Chatt Sports Net pointed out earlier speculations claiming that the animatronics that will be featured in the upcoming spin-off game will be stage performers who can be booked for children's parties. This could have a connection with Cawthon's post, where the animatronics were being called back on stage for a performance.

Meanwhile, a fan-made theory was released through a video posted on YouTube about who will be the main villain for "Five Nights at Freddys: Sister Location."

According to the video posted by The Game Theorists, the players will have to face either Purple Guy or "Baby," or both, in the upcoming game.

The fan theory explained that Purple Guy's possible appearance may have been hinted when Cawthon mentioned the AftonRobotics in his website. The Bitbag pointed out that Afton Robotics is under the care of the Sister Location animatronics, and the main villain in the game is the man named William Afton -- the same person who committed child murders at the Freddy Fazbear's Pizza restaurant.

Meanwhile, the character named "Baby" was also discussed during one of the endings of the "FNaF World" role-playing game. According to the same report, Baby's evil antics turned out to be unstoppable even by her own creator. It was even implied that she killed her creator after her character was revealed. However, Cawthon has yet to confirm if the speculations about the upcoming game's villain are valid.

The "Five Nights at Freddy's: Sister Location" game is expected to be released this fall.
