Developer Square Enix will be back to drop more details about "Final Fantasy 15" later this month. The game studio announced that an will take place on Jan. 30 "to showcase the latest battle footage and scenes of magic."
Game director Hajime Tabata and marketing director Akio Ofuji will guide fans through the event and reveal more information about the gameplay and combat mechanics of the highly anticipated action role-playing game.
Brand new particulars regarding the Niflheim Empire will also be dished during the "Final Fantasy 15" Active Time Report. Make sure to tune in to the livestream on Jan. 30 at 8 p.m. PST or 11 p.m. EST in North America and on Jan. 31 at 4 a.m. GMT for those in Europe.
There's word that during the livestream, Square Enix will provide details about the official announcement of the release of date of "Final Fantasy 15," which will take place in a March event. At the moment, gamers only know that the latest iteration of the mega-popular RPG franchise will be out later this year.
With the Active Time Report days away, Square Enix made sure fans can whet their appetite for everything "Final Fantasy" by sharing a batch of new screenshots from the game, which allow gamers to get a close look at Noctis on the field.
For those who are not in the know, some of these screenshots were already featured by Weekly Jump magazine. A scan of the latest issue made the rounds just days ago, hinting that the Magitek Armor will make an appearance and will be a big adversary in "Final Fantasy 15."
The scan also revealed that whenever Noctis casts a "Fire" spell on a grassy land, the area will burn up and anyone nearby can be injured by it. In addition, Noctis now has the ability to mount monsters (and jump onto them) to decrease their energy and attacking abilities.
The hero was also given the ability to move stealthily into the enemy base without being detected. "Final Fantasy 15" is being developed for the Xbox One and Ps4.
