'Fear the Walking Dead' season 2 plot spoilers: Epidemic follows survivors to the ocean

The latest "Fear the Walking Dead" season 2 trailer teases that no place is invulnerable to the epidemic, even the ocean. Unfortunately, this is the location Travis and the residents of the now zombie-plagued Los Angeles chose to travel in.

As the promo for the "Fear the Walking Dead" season 2 episode 1 reveals, the waters could end up preventing the survivors from escaping. This is evident when a group of zombie-looking creatures approached the luxury yacht the survivors boarded to get as far away from land.

When the first season of "The Walking Dead" spinoff wrapped up, people went desperate to stay alive. This might explain the raft carrying a crowd of them, hoping to hitch a ride to survival with Victor Strand's yacht.

It won't be a shock if one or two of those people reaching the cruise have been infected. If this is the case, Travis and his family will be in big trouble. This will make surviving more impossible than it already is.

The "Fear the Walking Dead" season 2 premiere episode is called "No Safe Harbor." Everyone is distraught of the horrible fate that befell them but they are still hopeful that it will all come to pass.

The sophomore run of the series, which will be nine episodes longer than the first season, will be intersecting Travis's universe to that of the people on board Flight 462, which is also the name of the web series.

Speaking of which, "Fear the Walking Dead: Flight 462" has just been made available in the U.K.. AMC will also be releasing new one-minute long episodes of the web spinoff on its Facebook page every Monday up until "Fear the Walking Dead" season 2 premieres.

In "Flight 462," a zombie finds its way to the plane. It looks like this has something to do with the new waterborne troubles Travis and the rest will be facing in "Fear the Walking Dead" season 2, which premieres April 10 on AMC.
