Fable Legend beta version release date, new trailer revealed by Microsoft during Gamescom 2014

 Fable Legends

During their 2014 Gamescom press conference, Microsoft revealed the latest trailer of Fable Legend and declared that the beta version will start on October 16, and anyone can start signing up to experience the game's latest updates on its official website.

However, Microsoft and the game's developer Lionhead did not made any comments about what fans could expect in the upcoming beta, yet the UK-based studio announced that it would add more elements to the trial in the coming days.

Powered by the Unreal Engine 4 of Epic Games, Fable Legends was initially launched during last year's Gamescom.

As described on its website, Fable Legends "brings you to a place where history, myth, and folklore are practically the same thing."

"You can play the game single player, with a party of three heroic AI companions that follow your lead through stories and adventures. Or you can play cooperatively with up to three friends and discover the game's quests and content together. Play whatever style you want, when you want. After all, you're the Hero. And just what kind of Hero you choose to play is up to you. "Fable Legends" takes you back to a time when Albion is teeming with Heroes, so there's bound to be one for you. Fearless warriors. Cunning tricksters. Masters of Will. Paragons of virtue. Heartless mercenaries. Intoxicated brawlers. Chicken chasers. They're all here, and many more besides," the official game site added.

The players can actually work as a team with a maximum of three members, or they can opt to play the role of a villain that aims to stop the heroes by setting up traps of unleashing despicable creatures.

Aside from the October 16 release date of Fable Legends beta version, there is no word yet as to when the Xbox One version of the game will be released.
