Gary "Cerith" Paskins, a game designer from Mediatonic, one of the developers of the game "Fable Fortune," announced that the game will leave Early Access and release properly on Feb. 22.

According to Paskin's Steam announcement on Feb. 19, "Fable Fortune" is set to leave Early Access and the Game Preview Program at the same day it will launch properly into its free-to-play 1.0 version on Feb. 22. In the upcoming update, players will finally find out what Temple and Norman are up to, as well as the debut of "new, but familiar" faces. Aside from these, the new update will also contain stability and bug fixes alongside more changes in the game that will be detailed once the game finally releases. Paskins also announced that Early Access players will be able to receive free Fancy cards and a Fancy card pack in their Road to Release log-in event where players have to log-in to their accounts and press "Play" to receive the free items. For players logging in on Feb. 21, Early Access players will be receiving a free Fancy Blood Augur card and a free Fancy card pack.

In the game, players will take on the role of one of the six unique Heroes. Players will have the freedom to choose their quests and upon completion, they must make the choice between Good or Evil. The choice they will make will determine the abilities of their heroes together with the powers and properties of their cards.

While the game will be free-to-play once it releases, interested players may still avail the "Fable Fortune" Founder's Pack for $14.99 which will give players over $40 worth of in-game items including 20 card packs (plus an extra 10 bonus once players start playing), a Unique Founders Trophy Card named Chicken Vengeant, and a bonus Fabled Card called the Giant Egg on Xbox One and Steam.
