Series creator Lee Daniels confirmed during the Met Gala early this week that supermodel-actress Naomi Campbell will return in the second season of FOX's groundbreaking hip hop musical "Empire."

On Monday, Daniels and Campbell attended the star-studded Met Gala together, where the famous model was asked by the "Inside Edition" if she will reprise her role as Hakeem's (Bryshere Y. Gray) former lover Camilla Marks. Campbell first avoided answering the question if she will still be a part of "Empire" season 2.

"I don't know, Lee are you bringing me back?" she said.

This was answered directly by the series director-producer, saying that he definitely told her that she will be back.

Meanwhile, IB Times India spotted an interview wherein actor Jussie Smollett hinted that his character Jamal will have a big season 2. According to the actor who portrays Lucious Lyon's (Terrence Howard) second son, Jamal will have a big transition when the show returns.

"And you're going to see that he's ...he said there are certain things that he did not want to become, which is why he didn't want the spotlight. And he said that in the very first episode, you'll see some of the things that he didn't want to become, maybe he becomes, and some of the things he did want to become, he realizes those are ...he realizes his own destiny, and you see that throughout the season," the actor said.

Fans of the record-breaking musical series would also love to know if Jamal, who was appointed to be the new CEO of their family's record company, will return the leadership of Empire Records to his father once the Lyons patriarch gets out of prison.

But before Jamal makes any big decision for the company, he has to make sure that he can thwart all attempts of his family to overturn his leadership, including his mother Cookie (Taraji P. Henson), brothers Andre (Trai Byers) and Hakeem, and his father's girlfriend Anika (Grace Gealey).
