Zoila's (Judy Reyes) life was put on the line in the third season finale of "Devious Maids." But did she manage to successfully give birth to the baby and survive until the show's season 4?

Toward the end of season 3, Zoila's water bag immediately broke while she and her former employer-turned-friend Genevieve (Susan Lucci) were fixing up their friendship through a relationship counsellor. But when Zoila and the baby's fate were compromised at the delivery table, Genevieve was left with no other choice but to decide who among the two should be saved.

While the answer was kept hanging in the third season finale, co-star Dania Ramirez posted a video on Instagram that teased Zoila's fate. The video shows a behind-the-scenes look at season 4, as well as a final rehearsal for the actress's character. It is noticeable in the clip that Zoila is there as well.

Does it mean that Genevieve decided to save her friend's life instead of the baby? Or did both Zoila and her child become fortunate enough to miraculously survive the health scare?

Lucci also discussed another character's fate during the AOL Build conference back in February. This time, she answered the question pertaining to Evelyn's (Rebecca Wisocky) husband, Adrian (Tom Irwin).

"A lot of people want to know if Adrian survives. Adrian on paper is a very unsympathetic, sleazy kind of a character, but in the hands of Tom, you love this guy and root for him and you want him to live. And that's part of what we'll focus on in the beginning," Lucci said in the conference.

The actress also revealed that a lot of surprises are in store and all will be revealed as the new episodes of "Devious Maids" season 4 begin to air on June 6 on Lifetime.
