'Destiny's' Xur location for July 24-26 weekend: Where is the merchant?

Xur, Agent of Nine

"Destiny" players who were hoping to upgrade their weapons last weekend were disappointed to find out that the game's popular traveling merchant did not include exotic weapons in his set of merchandise. However, gamers are still looking forward to seeing Xur, Agent of the Nine, with a better weapon selection when he returns to the tower beginning Friday, July 24.

Last week, players were surprised when they found out that Xur did not bring weapons for sale during his scheduled visit at the Tower. Some even complained to game developer Bungie that the Agent of the Nine seemed to have forgotten to check all his merchandise before opening shop last Friday.

Bungie recognized Xur's mistakes immediately after he reached the Tower. Based on the vendor's list of items from July 17 to 19, he only had the Exotic Helm of Inmost Light helmet under the Titan Armor, the Celestial Nighthawk helmet from the Hunter Armor, the Sunbreakers gauntlet from the Warlock Armor, as well as the exotic Engram helmet.

After realizing Xur's mistake, Bungie posted a statement on Twitter, saying: "We've determined we can't safely alter Xur at this time. He'll be back next week with a full inventory, including an Exotic weapon."

Fans of the game would like to see special exotic weapons to compensate for Xur's mistakes last week. If they will have it their way, they want to see the highly anticipated exotic rocket launcher that can cause major damage with its increased Attack Power and popular among "Destiny" players because of its ability to aim and reload fast.

Xur, Agent of the Nine, normally trades his merchandise for Strange Coins or Motes of Light from Friday, 2 a.m. PST (5 a.m. EST) up to Sunday, 2 a.m. PST (5 a.m. EST). Since he is constantly on the move, it would be hard to track where Xur will be heading out this coming weekend.
