Destiny Xur Agent of the Nine location: New items for sale Oct. 2-4 weekend

It's that time of the week again when "Destiny" players are advised to gather all the Strange Coins and Motes of Light to be able to come up with enough currencies to purchase new items from Xur, the Agent of the Nine's exotic merchandise.

Xur, the travelling merchant in the "Destiny" universe, normally arrives in the Tower every weekend to sell his latest line of exotic items like weapons, armors, engrams, and other consumables.

In a forum on Bungie's website, it is claimed that Xur will be selling a "secret mystery item: worth 200 coins during the Oct. 2 to Oct. 4 weekend. However, there is no further info to corroborate the claim.

This means that players who are interested to purchase the mystery item should complete the Weekly Heroic Strike to be able to gain the access to multiple levels and earn three, six, or nine Strange Coins. They can also earn several Strange Coins that will be rewarded randomly after a player has completed some Public Events with a Gold Rating, or if they complete the Crucible matches and Weekly Nightfall Strikes, open the loot chests that can be found in the Prison of Elders, decrypt the available encrypted engrams, or complete a Queen's Wrath bounty.

Aside from the mystery item, there are other exotic merchandise expected to be offered by Destiny's resident travelling merchant this weekend.

During the Sept. 25 to Sept. 27 weekend, Xur brought the Legacy Primary Weapon Engram, Run Wing Gauntlets, and the Sealed Ahamkara Grasps Gauntlets. The Agent of the Nine also offered the Light Beyond Nemesis and the Hawkmoon Hand Cannon when he visited the Tower Hangar located at The Last City on the planet Earth.

Expect to see Xur, Agent of the Nine to come to the Tower starting Friday, 2:00 a.m. PST/5:00 a.m. EST and stay in the area until Sunday, 2:00 a.m. PST/5:00 a.m. EST.
