'Destiny': Xur's location this weekend July 3-5, 2015

Xur, Agent of Nine

Xur, the renowned Agent of the Nine, will once again roam around the "Destiny" universe to bring a new set of exotic merchandise that he will sell in exchange for Motes of Light and Strange Coins. But where will interested players find him during the Fourth of July weekend?

Normally, the vendor starts moving toward the tower on Friday at 2 a.m. PST (5 a.m. EST) and stays in a specific location until Sunday at 2 a.m. PST (5 a.m. EST). Players can take advantage of these times to acquire those exotic products if they have enough of the currencies required by Xur.

Last weekend, the Agent of the Nine brought his precious items to the Tower by the Vanguards and sold a variety of high-end items like: the Peregrine Greaves Titan Leg Armor (152 Intellect) for 13 Strange Coins; the Crest of Alpha Lupi Hunter Chest Armor (150 Strength) for 13 Strange Coins; the Heart of the Praxic Fire Warlock Chest Armor (144 Discipline) for 13 Strange Coins; the Red Death Pulse Rifle for 23 Strange Coins; the Exotic Shard Material for 7 Strange Coins; and the Exotic Engram Helmet Engram for 23 Motes of Light.

For this weekend, Product-Reviews reported that "Destiny" fans would like to see Xur selling the powerful Gjallarhorn rocket launcher. Those who have been following the travelling merchant know that the Gjallarhorn was only sold once, and it happened way back during the second week of the game's launch. Some speculations claim that the game developer deliberately stopped Xur from selling the exotic weapon because it is one of the most powerful items in the game.

However, the report says that several people are still hoping that Xur would sell the Gjallarhorn rocket launcher in time for the Independence Day celebration in the U.S.
