The highly anticipated release of the latest "Destiny" expansion "Rise of Iron" is just right around the corner, and more details about the upcoming downloadable content are being released by Bungie.

One of the "Destiny" developers announced that a weapons balancing patch will come out after the release of "Rise of Iron" this month. But a follow-up post from Destiny on Reddit clarified that the weapon tuning will actually come out together with the DLC.

"Wanted to clarify this as there was some confusion over the question and Scott misspoke," the Reddit post stated. "There will be weapon tuning changes with Rise of Iron."

The game developer also confirmed that the year three Thorn weapon will be the same as the current one used in the game. But according to a report from Express UK, the weapon will come with a new light level this time.

Meanwhile, "Destiny: Rise of Iron" DLC producer Scott Taylor revealed in an interview with Eurogamer that fans of HBO's "Game of Thrones" will find a familiar face in the game's upcoming expansion.

According to the DLC producer, they used the dog actor who portrayed the role of Ghost in the epic TV series to play the role of wolves that were seen all over the Saladin in the DLC's reveal trailer. "The dog actor - who I believe is actually called Ghost - is our wolf mo-cap. It was like a rock star coming in," Taylor said.

Bungie will release "Destiny: Rise of Iron" DLC, complete with a brand-new Story Campaign and Quests, new gear and armor, as well as new raid and strike, for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on Sept. 20. But those who are playing the game on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 will have to miss this expansion.
