After the teasers posted by Ryan Reynolds in his Twitter account about his appearance at the San Diego Comic-Con 2015, the actor led the hilariously epic teaser launch of his upcoming "Deadpool" film during Saturday night's 20th Century Fox panel at the legendary Hall H events venue.
Based on the trailer, the film adaptation of Marvel's most popular anti-hero seems to stay true to the comic series on which it is based. It means that the soon-to-be released movie will feature extreme violence, expletive words, and the character's penchant for breaking the fourth wall.
Both Reynolds and film director Tim Miller were present during the launch of the R-rated trailer. The two also discussed the development of the film and they answered several questions from the attendees.
"It only took 11 years to get here," the actor shared. "You guys, the fans, made the studio do this. You bent their arms behind their frikkin' backs."
Reynolds also admitted that making a stand-alone Deadpool movie seemed impossible at first, and it was a miracle that 20th Century Fox allowed them to bring the character's crude personality to the big screen.
Those who were present in the venue understood what the actor was talking about after showing the trailer, especially when Deadpool was shown shooting three people through their heads while jumping through the air using just one bullet, then explicitly saying that doing it excites him.
But the trailer did not seem to bother those present. It even made fans more ecstatic about the film. They demanded the clip to be played once again, a response "Star Wars: The Force Awakens," "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice," or other film trailer releases this year or in the history of the Comic-Con did not experience.
Even actor Nicholas Hoult seemed to have enjoyed the "Deadpool" trailer presentation. During the turn of his upcoming film "X-Men: Apocalypse," Hoult was asked to discuss something about his character.
The actor said, "I can't concentrate because I'm still psyched about the 'Deadpool' trailer."
Those who were not fortunate enough to attend the "Deadpool" trailer reveal during the SDCC 2015 are already clamoring to see why it caused such a big buzz during the event, and Reynolds announced through his Twitter account that something will come out in the coming days.
"Deadpool" is slated to premiere on Feb. 12, 2016.
