The characters, portrayed by Falk Hentschel and Ciara Renee, respectively, are recruited by Rip Hunter (Arthur Darvill) to become a part of the team that will attempt to foil the evil plans of Vandal Savage (Casper Crump).

Based on their characters in DC Comics, the Hawkman and the Hawkgirl have a long-term connection after being reincarnated over the years. The Hawkman's other personal is known as Carter Hall, while the Hawkgirl's alter-ego is named as Kendra Saunders. The two also share a personal connection with the series' menacing villain.

Meanwhile, series executive producer Marc Guggenheim recently shared a photo of the script of the "DC's Legends of Tomorrow" episode 108 on Twitter.

Based on Guggenheim's post, the episode will be titled "Night of the Hawk." It was written by Sarah Nicole Jones and Cortney Norris and directed by "Twilight Zone: The Movie" director Joe Dantes.

Since the episode is titled "Night of the Hawk," it could be assumed that the episode will feature either the Hawkman or the Hawkgirl, or both. It could also feature the character named Connor Hawke.

Little is known about Connor Hawke's appearance in "DC's Legends of Tomorrow." But he will reportedly join the series toward the middle of the season.

At the moment, The CW is still looking for the actor who will portray the role of the DC Comics character on the small screen.

Other characters featured in "Legends of Tomorrow" include Victor Garber as Professor Martin Stein/Firestorm, Brandon Routh as Ray Palmer/The Atom, Caity Lotz as Sara Lance/White Canary, Dominic Purcell as Mick Rory/Heat Wave, Wentworth Miller as Leonard Snart/Captain Cold, and Franz Drameh as Jefferson "Jax" Jackson/Firestorm.

"DC's Legends of Tomorrow" premieres on The CW on Jan. 21, 2016.
