This year might just be the most exciting for PC owners as another play-worthy title in the RPG genre is setting its sights on the highly adaptive platform. And it is none other than Idea Factory International's "Dark Rose Valkyrie" -- a sci-fi fantasy title beloved by gamers for its compelling narrative and its aesthetically pleasing visuals.

According to the announcement, "Dark Rose Valkyrie" will be debuting on the PC platform this summer on April 10 courtesy of popular game curator Steam.

On top of this, the game will come with a "Complete Deluxe Set" that will include all previously released DLC packs and deluxe pack goodies for the said title. The deluxe pack will include items such as a character art collection, five PC wallpapers, a rough art collection, and four wallpapers dedicated to smartphones.

Storyline-wise, "Dark Rose Valkyrie" will take players in a make-believe Earth where human beings are turned into malevolent monsters by a certain alien virus called Chimera. Players are then tasked to defend humanity against the upheaval of these foreign and deadly creatures by leading a special force unit dubbed as "Valkyrie."

Gameplay-wise, players will be able to make use of the unique battle system integrated in the game. Users will be able to fight off enemies by transforming their characters into their stronger, yet more unstable alter egos. Aside from this, character attack customization is also possible in order to more effectively defeat a particular foe.

"Dark Rose Valkyrie" is a Japanese-style RPG first released on the PlayStation 4 two years ago. It was created by popular RPG developer Compile Heart, which is also responsible for other popular titles such as "MeiQ: Labyrinth of Death," "Genkai Tokki: Seven Pirates," "Mary Skelter: Nightmares," and much more.

Once it drops, the game will be readily available for the PC platform. In addition to this, the game will be discounted by 20 percent in its first week.
