Host Tom Bergeron misspeaking during the announcement of the new set of celebrity contestants for "Dancing with the Stars" seems to have been a calculated mistake, since it hints at the identity of the mystery contestant who is yet to be revealed when season 20 begins.

When the "DWTS" host called pro dancer Witney Carson, he said: "Her partner couldn't rose — I mean rise so early to be here."

Some viewers of the reality dance competition speculated that "The Bachelor 2015" Chris Soules will be joining the show this season, and his name will be announced as soon as he hands over the final rose in the final episode of the popular match-making show on March 9.

However, Us Weekly already went on with the announcement and confirmed that The Prince Farming will indeed partner up with reigning season 19 champ Carson in the upcoming episodes of "DWTS" season 20. According to the magazine's source, Soules had been in talks with the producers of "DWTS" over the last few weeks to learn more about his involvement in the celebrity dance competition.

"He seems like he's not totally sure what he's getting himself into! It will be fascinating to see how well he does," the source claims.

Soules will not be the first star from "The Bachelor" franchise who will join "DWTS." "The Bachelorette" season 1 star Trista Sutter also joined the first season of the dance show. Other Bachelors and Bachelorettes who fought for the famous mirror ball trophy include Sean Lowe, Jake Pavelka, as well as Melissa Rycroft, who was asked to go back to the "All Star" edition of the show where she and partner Tony Dovolani won.

Soules will join the other celebrity contestants this season, including football star Michael Sam, legendary singer Patti LaBelle, Olympic gymnast Nastia Liukin, Robert Herjavec from Shark Tank, singer and "Glee" star Riker Lynch, U.S. army vet and amputee Noah Galloway, model Charlotte McKinney, LMFAO rapper Redfoo, actress Suzanne Somers, and Bruce Willis and Demi Moore's daughter Rumer Willis.

"Dancing with the Stars" season 20 premieres on March 16 on ABC.
