Less than a month after Bindi Irwin and her dancing pro partner Derek Hough won the Mirror Ball trophy in the 21st season of "Dancing With the Stars," fans of the show are already speculating about the new celebrity lineup for season 22.

One of the most talked about rumors about the next contestants in "Dancing with the Stars" season 22 is New York Giants running back Rashad Jennings.

The NFL star recently told TMZ that his camp is currently talking with the ABC networks regarding his possible participation with the long-running celebrity dance competition.

"Yes, we've had conversations," Jennings said as he confirmed the speculations about his possible appearance in the hit dance show. "We're gonna hold off a couple more days."

If Jennings will be confirmed as one of the competitors in "Dancing with the Stars" season 22, he will join the roster of other celebrity athletes who have competed on the show. The list includes boxer Evander Holyfield; WWE diva Stacy Keibler; NFL stars Jerry Rice and Emmitt Smith; former NBA player Clyde Drexler; pro boxer Laila Ali; Winter Olympian Apolo Anton Ohno; pound-for-pound boxing champion Floyd Mayweather Jr.; race car driver Helio Castroneves; and last season's contestant horseracing jockey Victor Espinoza.

Meanwhile, "Dancing with the Stars" judge Len Goodman will return for the show's 22nd season after taking a break.

In a recent press release from London, Goodman shared: "Greetings, everyone. Len Goodman here. Now I've been watching the show from the U.K., and I must say everyone has been doing a fantastic job," the celebrity judge said. "Now you finalists, I want you to give it your all in these last dances. As for the pros, I've got a mention for you as well. Listen up: Len is coming back next season. And I don't want any of your nonsense," Goodman revealed.

"Dancing with the Stars" season 22 is slated to premiere on ABC on March 21, 2016.
