Abby's selections for hip hop soloists in Xpression Dance Competition in California invites conflict in "Dance Moms" season 6, episode 16. The episode is very aptly titled "Mack Z vs. Abby Lee."

In this once-again explosive "Dance Moms" season 6 episode, Abby gives Brynn and JoJo hip hop solos while Mackenzie is given a gymnastic routine to keep it safe.

Her mother Melissa is obviously unhappy with what her daughter got and reasons to Abby that Mackenzie is "amazing at hip hop." As seen in the "Dance Moms" season 6, episode 16 promo, the young Ziegler joins her mom in convincing Abby to give her a hip hop solo.

The tension escalates and Abby instead removes Mackenzie as one of the solo performers for the competition. Melissa confronts Abby, who is now in her office but the dance instructor shoos her away.

While all signs point to Mackenzie missing the hip hop solo, spoilers show she ends up getting one. She, in fact, does better than the others. Her hip hop routine for "Bully" landed her on first place in the junior division.

JoJo's solo performance to the tune of "Million Dollar Baby" snags her the fifth spot in the said division while Brynn finishes fourth in the same division with her hip hop routine for "Freak." The group's contemporary routine for "Boulevard of Broken Dreams" earns the highest spot in the teen division.

On a side note, "Dance Moms" season 6 spoilers also hint that Melissa met up with producers to discuss their contract. As previously announced, Maddie will be leaving the show for bigger endeavors and this might be what the talk will be about.

And as it the drama is not enough, "Dance Moms" season 6, episode 16 will also see Jessalyn and Ashlee clash after the former accuses the latter's daughter Brynn of copying JoJo. "She's not the next Maddie. She's the next JoJo. Your kid has no character," Jessalyn tells Ashlee.

"Dance Moms" season 6, episode 16 airs April 19 at 9 p.m. ET on Lifetime.
