Conor McGregor's preparation for his rematch against Nate Diaz has been intense. Following the recruitment of renowned grappler Dillon Danis, the UFC superstar makes it a point to chill out and relax.

In a recent Instagram post by The Notorious himself, McGregor said that the training has been "fantastic" and that his "excitement for the circus is building."

Before heading to a sparring session, McGregor sat down for a cup of coffee and for some quality time with his adorable pooch, Hugo. This is said to be a show of confidence from McGregor's camp.

Relaxing having a coffee before a great day of sparring. Preparation is going fantastic! My excitement for the circus is building.

McGregor deeply regrets not training enough for his first face-off with Diaz, which led to his first defeat. The desire to redeem himself had the Irishman "obsessed" with the rematch.

It looks like McGregor is happy on how the training is moving along that he found time to take a break. After all, he had been training with the best Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu practitioners and boxers in the business.

McGregor is set to face Diaz during the UFC 202 this August. The rematch was supposed to take place this July, but Diaz did not concur.

While McGregor is thirsty to give Diaz a beat down in the Octagon, Frankie Edgar hopes he gets in the same ring with The Notorious. He has outlined a plan to strike a match with McGregor.

Edgar believes that he simply has to defeat Jose Aldo next month during UFC 200 to score a match against McGregor at eth Madison Square Garden.

"You can't write something better than that," Edgar said during his appearance at "The MMA Hour." "Why wouldn't Conor want to fight at MSG? There's definitely a big Irish contingency in New York and it could be possibly biggest fight UFC history," he went on to say.

For now though, both Edgar and McGregor have upcoming bouts to focus on. The latter will fight Diaz this August and if his training goes so well he has time for a coffee break, it will be an exciting battle.
