The first expansion for the latest "Civilization VI," "Rise and Fall," has just arrived. While many fans thought the list of new civilizations or civs is already complete, they have been proven wrong as another civ was released just hours before the expansion itself was rolled out — much to the players' surprise. Zulu, along with its chief Shaka, is the latest civ players can conquer in the game.

Zulu has a unique unit called the Impi. It is a highly disciplined combat unit and compared with other civs in the same era, it is a lot cheaper. In addition, it gets bonuses for flanking and gets more experience than most other units. Their unique district is called the Ikanda. The Ikanda simply provides more housing and will later enable Corps and Armies to be immediately built.

As for Shaka, he possesses a unique ability called the Amabutho. This allows him to form Corps and Armies faster than any other leader of any other civ. Not only does he get to do that earlier, but these units even get bonus combat strength.

Zulu itself, of course, has its own ability called Isibongo. This gives loyalty bonus to conquered cities. However, these cities must first be garrisoned and when its units are upgraded to a Corps or Army.

Since the game itself gets its inspiration from history, Shaka is quite reflective of this. He was a military commander who had the love for improving their means for war. He enforces intensive training to his troops which is most likely the reason for his Amabutho ability.

"Civilization VI: Rise and Fall" expansion just came out recently and players can get it on their PC via Steam for $29.99. There have been numerous new civs that were announced before such as The Cree, Mongolia, Korea, The Netherlands and others, while India gets a new leader named Chandragupta.
