The third season finale of Hallmark Channel's "Cedar Cove" ended with a big cliffhanger, which left the audience wanting to find out the reason for Paul Watson's (Colin Ferguson) sudden decision to leave town.

But will the network order another season of their first-ever original scripted drama series?

In the season 3 finale, the new Cedar Cove district attorney decided to end his budding romance with municipal court judge Olivia Lockhart (Andie MacDowell) by moving out of town during her best friend Grace Sherman's (Teryl Rothery) wedding with Cliff Harting (Sebastian Spence). However, there are no details provided why Paul had to leave town, which made Olivia even more confused.

Until Hallmark Channel makes a formal announcement regarding a fourth season for the series, fans and the actors of the show like Brennan Elliot can only speculate about the fate of their characters in "Cedar Cove."

In a recent interview with Zap2it, Elliott shared that he wants his character Warren Saget to fall in love if "Cedar Cove" returns for season 4.

The cunning land developer is one of the most hated characters in the series. But Elliott said it could change if he finds someone to love in the future.

"I see Warren as finding who he is as a man and I think the next step is finding that strong woman that can say, 'Look, love yourself. I love you, it's OK to be like this.' And realize he doesn't need to do everything to please or do everything to have power, you have to love yourself, and all those other things that happen when two people in a relationship enable each other to grow," the actor said. "I think that might be something that's interesting, that's kind of floating around a little bit. We talked about having him fall in love so, that might be an interesting season 4."

But Elliott still has no idea if the network will bring back the show despite the stellar ratings of the season 3 finale. But the actor is still hopeful to return to "Cedar Cove" for a new season.
