News around the "Call of Duty" franchise has recently been revolving around the 2018 "Call of Duty" game, "Black Ops 4." However, developer Sledgehammer Games still has a lot of planned updates for "Call of Duty: World War II," especially given its success. In fact, there is a big update coming in the next 24 hours.

The update is big news enough for one of the developers to share on Reddit what the patch is going to contain. They were supposed to have their SHG Weekly Community Update over the weekend but they apparently needed to "gather as much info as we can for our Tuesday game update."

Majority of the patches are going to affect the multiplayer modes. First up is the Gun Game and Prop Hunt modes. Both are going to become permanent modes to the game as they used to be in a limited-time mode. They will even be playable on the downloadable content (DLC) maps. The playlists for both have also been added to the new Party Games playlist tab.

For the HC Ricochet, the developers have acknowledged people's concern about the split in the community. Their original intent was to allow players to try playing both. To reach a consensus, they are going to put a poll over the weekend, which will determine which rule they will implement.

Outside the update, the post on Reddit also mentions that they are giving a signed print of a Nazi Zombies concept art. The competition has already been posted on the game's subreddit (r/CODZombies).

The post also reads that there will still be a lot more additions to the game when the update comes. As to what those are, players will just have to wait for the official patch notes soon. The update will come Tuesday, Mar. 13, 2018.
