The upcoming episodes of "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" will show the steps being taken by the Leaf Village in order to stop the Byakuya Gang. The group, claiming to be noble thieves who are allocating wealth to the poor by stealing from the rich people, has proven to be a real threat to Konoha as their members are equipped with advanced ninja skills. In episode 46, the Leaf Village will take drastic steps to eliminate the group, giving special missions to ninja teams to defeat Byakuya. However, one of the village's young ninjas, Shikadai, will have second thoughts in dealing with the noble thieves.

As Byakuya gang members are seen as capable of hurting others, the Seventh Hokage has decided to wage war on the group. "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" episode 46, titled "Go! The Crest of Night Strategy!" will put the shinobis into another test. For Shikadai, it will be a different kind of test as confronting the Byakuya gang would also mean turning his back on his new friend, Ryoji. Nevertheless, the episode preview suggests that Shikadai will finally have a resolution to his internal conflict, although it is not certain if the young ninja will decide to fight Ryoji and his group.

Meanwhile, the titles of the upcoming "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" episodes have been revealed. Based on the titles, it seems that the Leaf Village's conflict with the Byakuya gang will culminate on episode 47. The current story arc is expected to be short, but it is likely that the end of the Byakuya gang storyline will lead to the anime spin-off series' next major plotline. For now, it is rumored that the anime will soon feature the storyline from the "Boruto" movie, wherein the relatives of Kaguya will set foot on Konoha and abduct Naruto.

"Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" episode 46 will air in Japan on February 21st.
