Competitors take part in groups of three, battling it out in a contest of skill and teamwork. This time the tournament is being held on planet Bomber, the home of white and the other seven bomber man brothers."

What follows the announcement is a glimpse of the some of the different maps players will be using in-game. The trailer also introduced the brand-new character line up. Revealing that the new additions to "Bomber Man R" would be iconic characters from other popular franchises.

The line-up included: Goemon, Dracula, Princess Tomato, Bubble Head, Option, Shiori Fujisaki, Jehuty, Anubis, Pyramid Head, Simon Belmont, and Reiko. The characters would reportedly come with their own unique skills, and their involvement would help spice up the game's combat.
