'Blue Bloods' season 7 spoilers: Jamie's actions stir up jealousy in Eddie

Danny Reagan (Donnie Wahlberg) and Maria Baez (Marisa Ramirez) will look into a case of a fatal domestic violence in the next episode of "Blue Bloods" season 7.

In the episode titled "Personal Business," the woman who will seek the help of Danny and Baez to prevent her abusive ex-boyfriend from hurting his new girlfriend. But things will take a different turn when the guy turned up dead. This will require the NYPD to investigate the woman's possible involvement with her ex-boyfriend's death.

The synopsis for the upcoming episode that was posted on The Futon Critic reads: "After Emily Harrison (Danielle Savre) tells Danny and Baez she's concerned her abusive ex-boyfriend will repeat his behavior with his new girlfriend, Emily becomes the prime suspect when he's murdered. Also, Eddie gets jealous when Jamie lets a young woman crash at his apartment, and Frank must decide how to discipline a sergeant after he fails to intercede during an armed robbery while off duty."

Based on the description of the episode, Jamie and Eddie's complicated relationship will have a slight development because of a young woman. Eddie will surprisingly become jealous when her partner decided to let the woman sleep over in his place.

Fans of the series were hoping to see the pair's relationship blossom from colleagues to lovers. But the two continue to bicker with each other.

In one of the previous episodes, Jamie and Eddie were seen fighting over their respective love lives. Eddie accused Jamie that he is still in love with a past girlfriend because he never had a serious relationship after. Jamie, on the other hand, scolded Eddie for not telling him about the new guy that she is currently dating. Will they ever admit that they are already falling for each other?

The eighth episode of "Blue Bloods" season 7 will air on CBS on Friday, Nov. 11.
