Fans of "Blue Bloods" should expect to see two guest stars in the premiere episode of season 7 in September.

Entertainment Weekly reported that "The Sopranos" alum Michael Imperioli and "Full House" star Lori Loughlin will appear in the still-untitled premiere episode.

According to the report, Imperioli will portray the role of Miller, a very inquisitive lawyer from the attorney-general's office. He will lead the ongoing investigation involving Danny Reagan (Donnie Wahlberg) and the shooting of serial killer Thomas Wilder (Louis Cancelmi). This could mean that Danny will have to face a tough legal challenge at the start of the upcoming season.

Meanwhile, Loughlin will play the role of a widow named Grace. She will try to approach NYPD Commissioner Frank Reagan (Tom Selleck) to appeal to him to stop her son from applying to become a cop. But how will the patriarch of the Reagan family give in to her request if his own children are working as police officers?

Meanwhile, speculations claim that the upcoming season of "Blue Bloods" will finally introduce a new love interest for Frank, who has been a widower for a long time. While CBS has yet to confirm if the speculations are true, fans are looking forward to seeing the head of the Reagan family get back into the dating scene. But how will his children react when their father starts seeing a new woman at this stage in his life?

"Blue Bloods" season 7 will also see the return of other original cast members, including Erin Reagan (Bridget Moynahan) Jamie Reagan (Will Estes), Henry Reagan (Len Cariou), Linda Reagan (Amy Carlson), Nicky Reagan-Boyle (Sami Gayle), Detective Maria Baez (Marisa Ramirez) and Officer Eddie Janko (Vanessa Ray).

CBS announced that the premiere episode of "Blue Bloods" season 7 will air on Sept. 23.
