Netflix has officially released the first full trailer and premiere date for "Bloodline" season 3.

The final season will feature 10 episodes and is scheduled to premiere on May 26. In the 38-second trailer unveiled this week, Rayburn matriarch Sally (Sissy Spacek) is seen saying she wants to confess about the crimes committed by her children. This might mean that she is now slowly uncovering the truth of what her kids have been doing.

Speaking with The Hollywood Reporter, co-creator Glenn Kessler teased that the development in Spacek's character opened up many plot possibilities for season 3.

"It's exciting because moving forward Sissy Spacek's character, who's been out of the loop for much of the first two seasons in terms of what's been going on with her family," he explained, adding, "she's now being brought in so it's going to be exciting to see how she participates with her children."

Additionally, Kessler said that Sally would soon figure out that her eldest son Danny (Ben Mendelsohn) was killed by his own brother, John (Kyle Chandler). "There is a horrible, horrible scenario down the road where their mother finds out," he told the publication when season 2 concluded.

Debuted in 2015, "Bloodline" follows the Rayburns, a seemingly ordinary family known for being the hard-working pillars of their community in the Florida Keys. Unbeknownst to everyone around them, the Rayburns are keeping dark secrets about their past that they hope to remain hidden. As lies pile up, paranoia and mistrust consumes the members of the family. An unthinkable crime takes place when alliances are shattered. The family's harmonious relationship eventually takes a turn for the worse and some of them are forced to do bad things.

Even though the show's first season was widely praised by fans and critics, many were not pleased with how the second installment played out. Season 2 concluded with a cliffhanger, with John driving out of town and leaving his family behind. As the series approaches its last installment, fans can expect the final season to tie some loose ends in the story.
