Chapter 686 marks the conclusion of the "Bleach" manga, which captivated readers all over the world for a decade and a half. With the end of an era come answers and resolutions to mysteries and stories.

In the final chapter of the manga, Ywach's power in the form of a blob shows up in Soul Society after Ichigo appears to have defeated him in the previous chapter.
Captain Mayuri and the rest of his squad prime themselves about what could happen as a result of the mysterious emergence of The Quincy King's power.
As all this happens, Ichigo, Orihima, Rukia and Renji gather around to witness Chad's boxing fight at Ichigo's hospital, which Rukia teased him for being empty.
"Bleach" chapter 686 then cuts to an orange-haired boy, who appeared in the first scene of the manga, put his hand into the Ywach's power blob.
He ultimately extinguished the menacing globule into the void, thus ending the threat of Ywach's return and whatever it is it was supposed to do to the folks there.
This was felt by Aizen from underneath Soul Society, and thinks back to the time Ichigo stopped Ywach and his attempt to make Soul Society, Earth and Hueco Mundo one.
As he recalled in "Bleach" chapter 686, he paved the way to a world with fear of death, something that the prisoner surprisingly liked the idea of.
Meanwhile, the boy's name was revealed to be Kazui Kurosaki and he happens to be the son of Ichigo and Orihime. Early in "Bleach" chapter 686, he was revealed to be at Hiyori's while his parents prepared to watch Chad.
After Kazui eliminated the blob, a young girl with red hair pops up from a worm hole where he was. She introduces herself as Ichika Abarai, the daughter of Rukia and Renji.
She told Kazui that she is a shinigami apprentice, as what her parents told Ichigo early in "Bleach" chapter 686 when he asked them about the kid. The young Abarai was in for a shock when Kazui himself revealed he was a shinigami.
According to reports, a "Bleach" manga spinoff is in the works and it looks like Kazui and Ichika could be the protagonist for this new project.
"Bleach" chapter 686 hits the shelves Aug. 22.
