'Better Call Saul' season 2 spoilers, plot news: Kim faces difficulties because of Jimmy while Mike contemplates getting a new job

Jimmy McGill's (Bob Odenkirk) love life just began to flourish in the sophomore season of "Better Call Saul." But things will start to look gloom between him and Kim Wexler (Rhea Seehorn) in the upcoming episode of the critically acclaimed "Breaking Bad" spin-off.

According to the synopsis for the episode titled "Gloves Off," Kim will unexpectedly be having difficulty because of Jimmy's actions. In the previous episodes, Jimmy and Kim's budding relationship was already on thin ice because she was having a hard time dealing with all of Jimmy's lies.

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Seehorn talked about the conflict that Kim feels about Jimmy's questionable actions.

"There's a negotiation between two people who love each other that has very specific language," Seehorn explained. "She's not saying, 'I won't do these things,' and she's not telling him, 'You can't.' She says, 'I don't want to hear about it,' which is tragic in its own way."

Meanwhile, the episode will also show how Mike Ehrmantraut (Jonathan Banks) contemplates about a new job that will give him a steady source of income.

In the episode titled "Amarillo," Mike's daughter-in-law Stacey (Kerry Condon) told him that she and her daughter Kaylee (Faith Healey) need to move out of their current violent neighborhood for their safety. As Mike has been very determined to support them since his son Matt was murdered, he will do everything that he can to get them out of their current dwelling.

The past episode also showed that somebody called him to offer a mysterious job that comes with a huge paycheck. But it seems like Mike has to forget about his morals for this particular task, since the synopsis from AMC reveals that it could "bring about dire consequences." Is Mike willing to take the risk?

"Better Call Saul" season 2 episode 4 airs on Monday, March 7, on AMC.
