'Beauty and the Beast' season 3 spoilers and updates: New stills posted online

CW's Beauty and the Beast Facebook

Only morsels of information have become available about the third season of "Beauty and the Beast" from the the time it was announced a few months back, that is until a series of photos surfaced showing some of the scenes that will be featured once the series returns.

"Beauty and the Beast" director Stuart Gillard posted several still images taken from the filming of one of the episodes in the coming season, showing Vincent (Jay Ryan) being targeted by a group of cops with heavy gear. The cops seem to be ready to fire any minute. However, it is not clear whether the police are working for or against Vincent, since they are stationed where he is heading.

Based on the director's Twitter post, the still photograph is for a "rooftop chase."

Meanwhile, several online sites claim that the plot for "Beauty and the Beast" season 3 will concentrate on the complicated relationship between Vincent and Cat (Kristin Kreuk). Based on the past seasons, the couple had to face a lot of struggles to keep their love alive, and it is expected that the two protagonists will still encounter more problems this season, but speculations claim that the couple will move past all of these.

"Beauty and the Beast" is one of the shows that The CW renewed for another season. Earlier this year, the network's president Mark Pedowitz shared in an interview with Entertainment Weekly that the upcoming season will be released sometime in late May or early June.

At the moment, there is no exact release date yet for the premiere episode of "Beauty and the Beast" season 3. However, the production of the show is currently ongoing, and it is expected to end soon.

Aside from Ryan and Kreuk, other cast members who are expected to return to the series include Austin Basis as JT Forbes, Nina Lisandrello as Tess Vargas, Sendhil Ramamurthy as Gabriel Lowen, as well as Rob Stewart as Thomas Chandler.
