The third season of "Beauty and the Beast" is just three episodes away from its end, but it seems like the airing date of the events in the season finale will be delayed.

The episode, titled "Til Death Do Us Part," was initially scheduled to be broadcast on Sept. 3, but SpoilerTV  recently received a revised airing schedule from The CW, stating that a replay of episode 10 titled "Patient X" will be aired in its place instead.

However, the memo from the network did not mention the reason why the schedule for the season 3 finale was moved, with the final air date of the episode still unconfirmed.

CarterMatt assumes that the season 3 finale will be aired one week after the original date, which falls on Sept. 10. The website also thinks that the network is avoiding to air the episode close to the Labor Day weekend to ensure better ratings. However, The CW is still mum about its reason for delaying its release.

Meanwhile, for this week's episode, Vincent (Jay Ryan) will surprisingly work with Liam (Jason Gedrick) to protect their identities. While there was a strong animosity between the two during the past episodes of the current season, Vincent will reluctantly help Liam retrieve the evidence that could reveal their identities and the things that they are capable of doing after being injected with the serum that makes them super-humans.

However, Cat (Kristin Kreuk) will begin to feel that something is not right with Liam's claims, and she will try to find out if everything that he said is real. She will reportedly have a disturbing discovery about Liam's background, and she will try to warn Vincent about it before it is too late.

"Beauty and the Beast" season 3 airs every Thursday on The CW.
