Trouble seems to be in paradise between Nick Viall and Amanda Stanton after their short-lived romance in "Bachelor in Paradise" season 3.

During an interview with AfterBuzz TV after Monday night's "Bachelor in Paradise" episode, Nick reacted to the post written by Amanda on her personal blog.

Amanda explained herself after the previous episode made her look like she abruptly dumped Nick when Josh Murray arrived on the island. The single mom wrote that she felt Nick was holding back during their first date because he was waiting for Jennifer Saviano to arrive, and she felt that he stopped being affectionate towards her when the cameras stopped rolling.

Nick gave his side of the story in the interview, saying that it was not true that he was not interested in Amanda during their off-cam moments.

"Amanda and I had at no times off-camera times. She mentioned something about that. We were always on camera together. I definitely was not as affectionate towards Amanda as Josh was. I wasn't quite there yet but we never had any off-camera time so I'm not sure what she's referring to with regards to that," the 35-year-old software sales executive said.

He also addressed the accusation of the San Francisco-based esthetician that his main goal on the show is to meet Jen.

"I never told anyone that I was coming for anyone specifically. I did tell Amanda when we went out that Jen, when she asked, I was like, 'Listen, I want to meet Jen. I'm curious about her.' I was upfront with that. I certainly never told Amanda we should date other people and that I only came for Jen or anything like that," he said.

Meanwhile, Reality Steve hinted that at least five couples will end up together in the finale of "Bachelor in Paradise" season 3. However, two of them had already broken up after the filming for the season ended.

The next episode of "Bachelor in Paradise" season 3 will air on Monday, Aug. 22.
