'Assassin's Creed Victory' release date leaked? Game plot spoilers

The next installment of Assassin's Creed might be coming very soon.

Reports about the development of Ubisoft's new game under the long-running franchise had been confirmed as early as November last year, when a video showing the alleged "Assassin's Creed: Victory" came out.

Now a report spotted from a Swedish retail store site called Webhallen listed the game's release date as December 31, 2015.

News about the possible release of a game set in the Victorian Era came out after a video footage was leaked. According to the video, the game will be released in multiple platforms, including Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC in November 2015. But the new listing contradicts the earlier report.

Also, the earlier video claimed that Ubisoft will develop the game with the Anvil engine that the game developer used in most of its games, including last year's "Assassin's Creed: Unity." The game's plot was also mentioned in the seven-minute video, which claims that the main character of the game will be battling with the Templars in the streets of London.

The caped assassin was also seen jumping from the Tower of London before hopping on a horse carriage that also bore a masked woman. This woman then gave him his first mission to track down an infamous child trafficker.

The Christian Times reported that Ubisoft earlier admitted that their Quebec team had been busy preparing the game for a few years already, and that they are planning to release the game soon.

Speculations claim that the game developer will be unveiling the game during this year's E3 convention in June, where the game studio will have a panel demonstration for some of its games.

Still, there are no confirmations about the official release date of the game from the company itself.

"Assassin's Creed: Victory" is expected to be placed in retail shelves before the year ends.
