"The Hidden Ones," one of the two upcoming expansions for "Assassin's Creeds Origins," is due in a few weeks. Players will be happy to learn that they will get to try a new map with new stories set in it.

The plot will revolve around Bayek fighting against the Romans in the new map. The events in the DLC will be set several years after the story in the main game. Not much else is said about it, but Ubisoft tells its players to expect a "vast" amount of new storylines, as per Eurogamer. The level cap will also be increased from 40 to 45.

Alongside the expansion, there are free updates for everyone that come with the expansion. There is a new quest to transition into the story of the expansion and a new option to sell outfits at the weaver shops. Speaking of outfits, players can also get a Warden outfit inspired by the "For Honor" game.

Two Trails of the Gods are also coming back, although the returns will not happening at the same time. Players wanting to challenge Anubis will be able to do so until Tuesday, Jan. 16. On the other hand, gamers who feel like going against Sobek will have to wait until Jan. 23. Sobek will be available as a challenge until Jan. 30.

Heka chests are also being updated soon. From the pool of items of the chest, items from the Nightmare, First Civilization, Wacky, and Gladiator packs will be added.

"The Hidden Ones," as mentioned, is actually the first of two expansions planned for a release this year. The second one will be called "The Curse of the Pharaohs." It will be coming out in March, and as the name already indirectly implies, will be about Bayek fighting against "famed Egyptian monsters."

Despite the expansion release coming really soon within the month, Ubisoft has not mentioned any specific date for the release. That said, it is quite unlikely for any delay to happen. Either way, "The Hidden Ones" should be coming out sooner than later.
