More questions were left unanswered when FX finally dropped the first teaser for the sixth installment of "American Horror Story."

On Tuesday, the network revealed the new logo for the critically acclaimed horror anthology via its social media accounts.

The logo is composed of a blood-red combination of a question mark and the number six. But it still does not reveal the theme for the new season as well as its official title.

Details about the next installment of "American Horror Story" are being kept under wraps by the network, but series co-creator Ryan Murphy told the panel during the Paleyfest in March that they are thinking of having two different concepts at the same time.

"The interesting thing about the next season is that we've been working on two ideas at once, which we've never done," Murphy said, as reported by Deadline.

Fans are expecting to hear more details about the show's theme for season 6 soon, but the waiting game will continue since FOX confirmed that "American Horror Story" will not be a part of their 2016 San Diego Comic Con line-up. This means that any information about the show will have to wait until Murphy or the other producers decide to announce more specifics about the series.

However, actor Cheyenne Jackson might have slipped that the cameras are already rolling for "American Horror Story" in an interview with Out Magazine.

When asked if he will start touring for his new album "Renaissance" soon, the singer-actor said that it will have to wait for a while.

"I'm doing P-town the weekend of the fourth, then Vegas July 15 and 16. But right now, we're shooting 'Horror Story.' I won't be able to promote the album 'till we're done, by the end of the year," Jackson said.

But after being asked to talk more about the show's upcoming season, the actor simply said that the concept of the show will be very different in season 6.

"You'll see. Wild horses wouldn't make me reveal the plot," he added.

The premiere date for "American Horror Story" season 6 is expected to be announced soon.
