A new freak is joining the circus camp of Elsa Mars in the upcoming episode of "American Horror Story: Freak Show."
The upcoming episode titled "Blood Bath" will feature a new character named Ima, played by actress Chrissy Metz. New images for the series show Ima being spoiled by ringleader Elsa (Jessica Lange) in front of a table full of food. There are no details yet about Ima's participation in the freak show, but the photos suggest that she will be Elsa's new recruit. Will she be Ma Petite's (Jyoti Amge) replacement in the camp after the little woman was brutally killed in the previous episode?
Meanwhile, Ethel (Kathy Bates) continues to be more suspicious of Elsa's involvement in the sudden disappearances inside the camp, after Ma Petite's death and Bette and Dot's (Sarah Paulson) departure. Ethel has been closely monitoring Elsa's every move after she accidentally heard the ringleader and Stanley (Denis O'hare) talking about mercy killing the conjoined twins.
But the twins are still safe, for now. Elsa actually sent them to live with Dandy (Finn Wittrock) and his mother Gloria (Frances Conroy) when the ringleader grew jealous of Dot's singing prowess. But how long will they stay unharmed around the evil Dandy, who recently told his mother that his sole purpose in living is to kill people?
Wittrock shared a few teasers about his character in the upcoming episode of "American Horror Story: Freak Show" in an interview with Yahoo TV.
"In Episode 8, there's some really cool stuff I get to do with mom, with Frances [Conroy]. It is also where Gabourey Sidibe enters our world. There's a big, big twist in that one that I get to be a part of," the actor said.
Sidibe will appear in the eighth episode of the popular FX horror thriller series as Regina Ross, the daughter of Gloria's former maid Dora, who was brutally killed by Dandy.
