Xbox Live Gold Xbox Game pass news: New subscribers get $1 deals

Black Friday is coming up, and several companies have released their own deals for the event. Microsoft, in particular, is offering a big discount for their Xbox players, ensuring that users get the cheapest deals ever for the Xbox Live and Game Pass.

Microsoft is now offering these subscriptions for only $1 each for the first month. The only catch to this, however, is that the user must be a first-time user or has not subscribed to either of these programs before. According to GameSpot, Xbox Game Pass is also relatively new, so if the players are looking forward to signing up for it, this Black Friday is the best chance to do so given the low price.

Game Pass is quite similar to the popular streaming service Netflix. Instead of getting unlimited access to films and shows, however, subscribers will be able to play several titles for free. It includes the some of the most popular games such as "Halo 5," "Fable III," "Bioshock Infinite," and the "Metal Gear Solid" games. The regular subscription for Game Pass is at $9.99 per month.

The discounted prices for both have been rolled out already and will be available until Nov. 27, as per Windows Central. In addition to their subscription sales, Microsoft is also actually rolling out some more sales with the coming of Black Friday on Nov. 24.

Also, from Nov. 17 until Nov. 27, Microsoft is putting nearly 500 digital games on sale for both the Xbox One and the older Xbox 360. As for the sale on Black Friday itself, there will be deals for Xbox peripherals like the wireless controllers.

Unfortunately, their latest Xbox One X would not be on sale, but Xbox 360 players can get an upgrade by getting the 500GB Xbox One S at a discounted price of $190. The package includes one free game, 14 days of Xbox Live Gold, and a one-month subscription to Game Pass.
