Microsoft laid out their plans for their Xbox gamescom 2015 briefing that will be held early next month.
Xbox Wire Editor-in-Chief Will Tuttle posted the information on the official Xbox website, where he promised to cover everything that will happen during the Xbox exhibit at the biggest consumer gaming convention in the world.
One of the planned events for the gamescom 2015 is meant for fans who have no chance of attending the trade fair in Cologne, Germany. The live event, called "Xbox Daily: LIVE @ gamescom," will be a 60-minute live show that will be hosted by a panel of Xbox experts, including Larry Hryb, Graeme Boyd, AceyBongos and Major Nelson from Xbox Live, as well as Julia Hardy. They will be joined by several guest stars and game studio execs. This will be streamed worldwide on Xbox.com at 6 p.m. CEST on Aug. 5 and 6.
Meanwhile, those who can attend the events at the Koelnmesse trade venue can have the chance to be one of the 500 lucky fans who can participate at the Xbox FanFest: gamescom 2015 that will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 4, until Wednesday, Aug. 5.
Those who will be invited at the exclusive two-day event at Cologne's Gloria Theater will be given an opportunity to have a hands-on experience with the best line-up of games in the history of Xbox exhibits in gamescom. The event will also conduct a secret day-time activity as well as the first-ever evening cruise party called "Xbox Party on the Rhein" on Wednesday.
Some of the games that fans can try out during the event include Xbox One exclusives like "Crackdown," "Scalebound," and "Quantum Break."
The attendees can also have a meet-and-greet encounter with some of the leading personalities in the gaming industry as well as receive exclusive Xbox-branded backpacks and fan swags.
According to the announcement, fans can attend the exclusive Xbox FanFest at the gamescom 2015 event by lining up for tickets at the Gloria Theater in Cologne, Germany from 2 p.m CEST on Tuesday, Aug. 4 until all tickets are taken. The venue's exact address is Apostelnstrasse 11, Cologne, NW 50667, Germany.
However, fans should be reminded that only those over the age of 18 will be given a ticket, and only one will be handed per person.
There will also be the "Halo 5: Guardians gamescom Invitational" by ESL, which will also be conducted on Friday, Aug. 7, at the ESL Arena. It will feature the first glimpse of the high-stakes Arena gameplay that concentrates on a skill-based 4v4 combat. The event invited four top teams for demo, namely the European teams Epsilon Esports, Supremacy, and CAZ.Esports, and the North American team OpTic Gaming.
The Microsoft booth will also be available for gamescom 2015 participants, where they can try out games like "Halo 5," "Rise of the Tomb Raider," and the "Forza Motorsport 6," among others.
The gamescom 2015 will be held from Aug. 5 to 9 this year.
