The long wait for the next WWE SummerSlam is finally over. But who will reign supreme in one of the biggest events in wrestling?

On Sunday, Aug. 21, WWE Network will drop the highly anticipated fights between the hottest stars of the professional wrestling industry. This prompted countless predictions about the results of the upcoming matches.

One of the battles that fans are looking forward to is the match between Brock Lesnar and Randy Orton. In the prediction posted on WWE's official website, wrestling analysts Ruan Pappolla and Scott Taylor claimed that Lesnar could easily defeat Orton at "The Biggest Event of the Summer."

Another match to watch out for is the one between AJ Styles and John Cena. According to wrestling analysts, Cena will hands down upset Styles because of his hunger to redeem himself after being away from the ring to recuperate from surgery. "As confident as AJ Styles has sounded in the lead-up to this mega return contest, you can hear a hint of self-doubt if you listen closely. It makes sense that Styles would be intimidated. They don't call him "Big Match John" just for funzies," Pappolla said.

Analyst Kyle Decker, on the other hand, explained to Cage Side Seats that it would be hard to imagine Cena losing twice in a row. This means that he will do whatever it takes to make sure that he gets the victory this time.

For the WWE United States championship match between Roman Reigns and Rusev, most predictions believe the Rusev will retain his title as the United States champion, especially after Reigns' recent suspension.

The list of the other matches for the upcoming WWE SummerSlam this Sunday includes:

  • WWE Championship Match: Dean Ambrose (c) vs. Dolph Ziggler
  • WWE Universal Championship Match: Seth Rollins vs. Finn Balor
  • WWE Tag Team Championship Match: The New Day (c) vs. The Club
  • WWE Women's Championship Match: Sasha Banks (c) vs. Charlotte
  • Intercontinental Championship Match: The Miz (c) vs. Apollo Crews
  • Enzo Amore and Big Cass vs. Kevin Owens and Chris Jericho
  • Best of 7 Series Match 1: Cesaro vs. Sheamus
  • Becky Lynch, Naomi and Carmella vs. Natalya and Alexa Bliss
