New WWE rumors are hinting that Paige will be out of the spotlight for a while because of an injury. The superstar was recently pulled from WWE's Australia and New Zealand shows.

Previous rumors claimed that Paige is no longer with WWE. Others reported that the brand split that separated her from boyfriend Alberto Del Rio is not sitting well with her.

However, before more WWE rumors could turn up, Paige's mother Saraya Knight stepped in and angrily shot down rumors about Paige's glaring absence from WWE.

Knight said that Paige is undergoing physiotherapy and tests on her back and neck and she has been very vocal about fending off the slanderous rumors about her daughter's status in WWE.

WAW referee David Finch shared a bit more about Paige's injury in a post on his Facebook page, which Knight also shared on her own page.

It turns out that Paige is "expected to not only miss the Australia and New Zealand tours, but also the next two-to-three weeks of dates."

"It's believed to be a nerve issue that they're hoping can be addressed with physical therapy as opposed to surgery, but she's scheduled for another evaluation on Aug. 15 which will determine the next steps in treatment," Finch wrote.

That being said, it looks like fans will miss Paige from the small screen for a while, but it seems that Paige is doing everything she can to get back on her feet.

From the looks of it, she might be gone for a while. However, Knight said that at the moment, "there has been no talk of release" with regards to Paige's standing in WWE.

In other related news, Paige is rumored to book a fight against Raw head Stephanie McMahon at Wrestlemania 33 in an effort to bring her WWE career to a whole new level.

Of course, this is yet to be seen for now as Paige will have her full attention in recovering from her injury.
