WWE Draft rumors: Roman Reigns heading to Raw, John Cena to SmackDown?

New details have come to light regarding WWE's draft plans this year involving who is set to headline SmackDown and Raw.

The latest reports hint that John Cena will be top of the bill in SmackDown, which is not much of a surprise since he is the face of the WWE.

Being one of the most popular WWE superstars, having him in SmackDown following the WWE Draft will snag the show a good chunk of viewers.

Brock Lesnar, who won his UFC comeback against Mark Hunt at the recently concluded UFC 200, is expected to join him there because the announcement of his WWE SummerSlam took place on SmackDown.

On Raw, it is being said that it will be Roman Reigns who will have top billing, which once again comes as little shock to many as he is the guy that WWE has been building up to succeed Cena.

However, it is still odd to some seeing that Reigns would have just come out of suspension at that time due to his violation of the WWE Wellness Policy.

Nevertheless, Reigns remains as one of the biggest stars for the WWE Draft and is expected to headline a brand either way.

Reigns should be able to come back in the WWE ring on July 21, just three days before the WWE Battleground, where he is set to fight his former Shield teammates Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose for the triple threat match for the World Heavyweight Championship.

It is expected that both Rollins and Ambrose will join him on Raw, making them the three of the biggest stars that will pull in the viewership for Raw.

At the moment, however, nothing is set in stone yet. Fans will learn who goes to SmackDown and who goes to Raw in the upcoming WWE Draft on July 19.
