Prior to the release of "WWE 2K16" later this month, 2K Games revealed the details for the downloadable content for the upcoming professional WWE wrestling sim game.
According to the game developer, "WWE 2K16" will have a Season Pass and a Digital Deluxe Edition DLC for the latest installment of the WWE video game franchise. It will include a story-oriented 2K Showcase that features the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2015 inductees, an exclusive access to the latest character moves, unlockable content, as well as player progression.
"'WWE 2K16' will deliver a unique and extensive selection of downloadable content spanning WWE's past and present, including the 2015 WWE Hall of Fame-inspired 2K Showcase, a solid offering of new in-game moves and a wide variety of playable WWE and NXT talent," Visual Concepts President Greg Thomas stated. "Complementing 'WWE 2K16's' largest roster in the series' history, this year's content offerings provide fans with an all-encompassing WWE experience at an excellent value."
The DLC offerings for the soon-to-be released 'WWE 2K16' include:
- Accelerator - Access to all unlockable contents for $1.99.
- MyPlayer KickStart for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One - Provides instant access to level up the created Superstar ratings and attributes that can be found in the game's MyCareer mode. It will sell for $9.99.
- Legends Pack - will come with playable WWE Legend such as the Big Boss Man, Dusty Rhodes, Lita, Mr. Perfect, "Rowdy" Roddy Piper and Trish Stratus. It will sell for $8.99.
- 2015 Hall of Fame Showcase - It will include the playable matches between some of the most legendary wrestlers from the WWE, including"Macho Man" Randy Savage vs. Jake "The Snake" Roberts, Rikishi vs. The Rock, Alundra Blayze vs. Paige, Larry Zbyszko and Arn Anderson vs. Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat and Dustin Rhodes+ Tatsumi Fujinami vs. Ric Flair, The Bushwhackers (Butch Miller and Luke Williams) vs. The Natural Disasters (Typhoon and Earthquake), The Outsiders (Kevin Nash and Scott Hall) vs. Harlem Heat (Booker T and Stevie Ray). This will sell for $9.99.

"WWE 2K16" will be available starting Oct. 27.
