If the new leaked reports would be an indication, it seems like the world will finally see the launch of the highly awaited new operating system from Microsoft very soon.
WinBeta recently spotted a working version of the Windows 10 that was designed solely for small tablets, though the article claimed that all the new apps for Windows 10 are designed to be compatible for most screen sizes.
Based on the leaked images, the Voice Recorder and the Calculator apps look bigger in the tablet-compatible version of the Windows 10 compared to the ones seen in the Windows 10 for Phone version. They can even be considered as big as the desktop version.
The leaked images of the Windows 10 could have been taken from a Surface Pro 4 image, which is set to be unveiled during the scheduled Build Developer Conference on April 29. The upcoming new device will allegedly be tapped to be one of the first Microsoft devices to carry the new operating system software straight out of the box.
Also, the leaked images of Windows 10 on tablet devices showed that the new operating system is compatible with most productivity accessories. It specifically pointed out that the tablet can properly function with an attachable keyboard and mouse through Bluetooth connection.
However, the new leaked screenshots only proved that Microsoft is still not finished working on the new Windows 10, and more details need to be polished before the operating system software can be actually released later this year.
Meanwhile, Microsoft's Executive Vice President for Operating Systems Terry Myerson recently talked about what users should look forward to when Windows 10 comes out.
"Windows 10 represents the first step of a whole new generation of Windows, unlocking new experiences to give customers new ways to work, play and connect," Myerson said. "This will be our most comprehensive operating system and the best release Microsoft has ever done for our business customers, and we look forward to working together with our broader Windows community to bring Windows 10 to life in the months ahead."
