Episode 3 of "Wayward Pines" season 2 marks the return of Nurse Pam, played by Melissa Leo. She is one of the characters from the first season who hasn't been shown yet.

Those who have been wondering what became of David Pilcher's (Toby Jones) sister will learn in "Once Upon A Time in Wayward Pines" that she has turned into a threat to everyone in the crazy little town.

In "Wayward Pines" season 2, episode 3, Pam pays Jason (Tom Stevens) a visit. Another scene in the trailer for the installment shows her standing next to Jason, who talked about "forgiveness."

For some reason, it appears as though Nurse Pam has power over Jason. At one point when Pam appeared to be locked up, Jason shed tears as she declared with a grin, "It's time for a reckoning."

The "Wayward Pines" season 2 trailer then cuts to a scene where a body is being thrown into flames. Whether or not it is Pam's body remains to be seen, but considering she's been a "threat" to the town, Jason might have offed her.

With that said, fans have a lot of reasons to think that Nurse Pam will share the same fate as Kate (Carla Gugino).

Speaking of Jason, "Wayward Pines" season 2, episode 3 will delve into his past as a "favored child of Wayward Pines," as the synopsis describes.

That being said, fans will finally learn more about why Jason so strongly yearns for Pilcher's vision to be realized in the town he founded -- from the violence of serving "justice" to those who have wronged others in the community.

Meanwhile, Theo's (Jason Patric) search for the truth about why he was brought to Wayward Pines will lead her right to Nurse Pam in "Wayward Pines" season 2, episode 3. His wife Rebecca (Nimrat Kaur) will urge him to stop asking questions and just move on with his new life -- something the doctor can't bring himself to do.

"Wayward Pines" season 2, episode 3, "Once Upon A Time in Wayward Pines" airs June 8 at 9 p.m. ET on Fox.
