'Walking Dead' season 5 episode 6 preview: Will Carol and Daryl find Beth?

After the jaw-dropping revelations in episode 5, where Abraham Ford (Michael Cudlitz) went on a furious rage that knocked down Eugene Porter (Josh McDermitt) while the group is trying to reach DC, another group will embark on a different mission in a more familiar location in the sixth episode of The Walking Dead Season 5.

In the episode title "Consumed," Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus) and Carol Peletier (Melissa McBride) will break away from Rick Grime's (Andrew Lincoln) group to look for Beth Greene (Emily Kinney).

The official synopsis of the episode reads:

"Stakes are high when members of the group must go on a heroic rescue mission in a previously known location."

Based on the trailer, the alleged location seems to be downtown Atlanta, which had been featured in the first season of the series. It is also the location of the hospital where Beth is currently located. The episode could be featuring a flashback to explain how Carol and Beth reunited in the hospital back in Episode 4.

Daryl and Carol will also face a lot of troubles while on their way to find Beth. Fans will finally see the scene teased during this year's Comic-Con wherein a van dropped from a bridge, which the two were riding.

Carol will also be hit by a car that has a cross in it, which could explain why she was covered in bruises when she was brought to the hospital in episode 4.

The Spoiling Dead Fans Facebook explained the scene during its post back in July, saying: "It's highly likely that a scene was filmed earlier of Carol being hit by a station wagon with a cross on it. Spectators say that after Carol was hit, two individuals dressed as cops came out of the vehicle. After seeing them, Carol faints and is loaded into the vehicle on a cot. The broken window on the car was replaced after the scene was shot. We know MMB arrived back from the scene with what looked like rope burns on her wrists and her stunt double arrived back about an hour later looking 'pretty damn rough.'"

Also, fans started to make several speculations after Reedus posted an intriguing photo on his Instagram account, wherein his character appears to be carrying a body and tossing it in the fire. Some were saying that the body belongs to Beth, while others believe that the deceased is Noah (Tyler James Williams).

The Walking Dead Season 5 Episode 6 airs November 16, Sunday.
