The cameras for the ninth season of "The Voice" have started to roll, but controversies have also started to come out as soon as the singing reality competition began.

A rumor has surfaced that NBC's long-running reality competition is fake. This came after an artist named Adam Weiner from Low Cut Connie expressed his disappointment on Facebook, claiming that the audition part of the show is staged.

A MESSAGE FROM ADAM TO OUR FANS REGARDING THE TV SHOW 'the VOICE' : "I've been waiting a couple months to tell people...

"I spoke to them a couple times and they told me that they had seen everything they needed to see, no need to audition, and that I simply needed to get to LA in about ten days time to shoot for a month or more, depending on how far I got in the contest," Weiner's post states.

He also firmly claims that the singing competition already chooses who will appear in the show long before it begins.

"The Voice is entirely 'pre-cast' and they had an opening they wanted to fill with me. I guess they really wanted that classic 'big-nosed greasy looking Fonzie piano-player type'," he wrote.

He also told Digital Music News that he believes that "The Voice" does not actually help the careers of the working artists in the show, and the only ones who can benefit from it are the already popular judges.

However, a source told FOX News that Weiner may have misinterpreted the information. According to the source, Weiner was actually contacted to audition for season 10, and he actually attended the audition. Then he was given a set of dates to clear his schedule, but he allegedly turned down the opportunity to undergo the actual blind auditions.

"The Voice" uses the "blind audition" concept, wherein the celebrity judges, with their backs turned, listen to the audition pieces of aspiring singers. If they like what they hear, they can turn their chairs so they can include the aspiring contestant in their team for coaching. But in case two or more chairs are turned, the contestant will be the one to pick which of the coaches they want to guide them throughout the competition.

The next season of "The Voice" will return on NBS with Adam Levine, Gwen Stefani, Pharell Williams, and Blake Sheldon on Sept. 21.
