"Fantastic Four" star Ioan Gruffudd has been tapped to join the cast of "UnREAL" season 2.

Variety exclusively revealed that that the Welsh actor will portray the role of the ruggedly handsome tech billionaire John Booth, who becomes mesmerized by Quinn King (Constance Zimmer).

According to the character description, John is "optimistic and curious with the breezy demeanor of a man who owns the world." He is also described as an intelligent, witty person with a knack for adventure. He is also known for not backing out of any kind of challenge that comes his way.

This could mean that Quinn could start opening her heart after ending her toxic relationship with Chet (Craig Bierko), the creator of "Everlasting," the dating reality show where she works as the producer.

Zimmer teased that someone could honestly find love in the midst of the chaos of running a dating reality show. In a webcam interview, via Gold Derby, Zimmer revealed that "UnREAL" season 2 is "going to be darker and dirtier, and yet somehow three of the characters will find love again in the most oddest of places."

The second season of "UnREAL" will center on the quest of the Darius Hill (BJ Britt) to find the love of his life through "Everlasting." Darius also happens to be the very first African-American suitor in the history of dating reality shows, which makes it a very big challenge for Quinn and Rachel (Shiri Appleby).

"UnREAL" season 1 earned praises from critics. Some believe that the show is worthy of getting an Emmy nomination this year. But Zimmer does not want to think about the possible nomination at the moment.

"I honestly don't even think I can wrap my head around that," the actress said. "It seems so surreal and unattainable right now. I think if a nomination happened, I'm not quite sure what I would do with myself. I might not be able to leave the house for a few days because I'd be so emotional."

"UnREAL" season 2 on Monday, June 6, on Lifetime.
